About Xin Miao
Xin Miao advises clients on FDA-regulated product categories, including food, dietary supplements, drugs, and medical devices.
Xin helps companies comply with regulations for importing FDA-regulated products and guides them through the process of submitting Import Alert petitions to remove their facilities from Detention Without Physical Examination status.
Xin is knowledgeable about GMP requirements for active pharmaceutical ingredients and assists clients in responding to 483 Forms and Warning Letters, as well as preparing for FDA inspections. Additionally, she provides guidance on other compliance programs, such as facility registration and the Foreign Supplier Verification Program.
As a fluent Mandarin speaker, Xin is skilled in intercultural communication and helps international clients adjust their products to meet US regulatory requirements.
Outside of work, Xin enjoys cooking cuisines from various food cultures, running, bouldering, and yoga. She is also an enthusiastic volunteer and mentor for the prelaw community.
