Bob Durkin Joins Faculty of FDLI’s Food and Dietary Supplement Safety Conference
Bob Durkin will serve as a panelist at FDLI’s virtual event titled “Food and Dietary Supplement Safety” on March 25.
Bob’s session, “What’s for Dinner and Should We Eat It? Exploring FDA’s “Healthy” Final Rule, Front-of-Package Nutrition Labeling, Ultra-Processed Foods, and More,” will explore recent, notable changes in the food space, including FDA’s updated final rule for “healthy” labeling, the proposed rule on front-of-package nutrition labeling, FDA’s issuance of draft guidance regarding labeling of plant-based alternatives to animal-derived foods, FDA’s guidance on non-listed food allergens, ultra-processed foods, and how to approach the current focus on the relationship between disease and diet.
