Ivan Wasserman spoke with NutraIngredients about the dietary supplement industry’s reaction to FDA’s Human Food Program 2026 priority deliverables. He said FDA’s plan to modernize dietary supplement oversight is the one deliverable that has the potential to have the biggest impact on the industry — but it also comes with the most unknowns. Ivan went on to say that the most important takeaway for stakeholders is that they should be informed, involved and engaged with FDA and industry trade associations to ensure their voices are heard to help shape the future of the industry.
