Rend Al-Mondhiry Quoted in “New York Age-Restriction Law Takes Effect as Judge Denies CRN Request for Preliminary Injunction”
Nutraceuticals World turned to Rend Al-Mondhiry for comment on New York’s new law requiring proof of age for the purchase of weight loss and muscle-building supplements.
Rend stated that New York’s law is “truly flawed…poorly written with ambiguous language that makes compliance difficult.” She went on to say that “even the protein product exemption is confusing. If the lawyers can’t figure it out, this doesn’t bode well for the industry (or consumer).”
