About Jennifer K. Singh
Jennifer K. Singh focuses her practice on counseling and defending clients in the areas of consumer product regulation and litigation. Jenny has the unique experience of trying multiple Proposition 65 cases to a winning verdict and ruling, and she guides clients of all sizes from a diverse variety of industries through the complexities of the pre-suit and litigation process.
Where lawsuits can and should be avoided or resolved, Jenny works efficiently to strategize and negotiate dismissal or favorable settlement agreements for her clients. She provides counsel on both state and federal environmental regulations and enforcement policies and provides strategic defense and preventative compliance advice regarding Proposition 65, including navigating the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment’s safe harbor practices, compliance programs, expert needs, risk exposure assessments, labeling requirements, enforcement actions, and defense and indemnification disputes throughout the supply chain.
Jenny also brings significant product liability experience to her practice, having assisted for many years in the national representation of prominent consumer product manufacturers, retailers, and distributors in high-exposure actions. She has practiced in matters involving product labeling, warnings and recalls, design defect, breach-of-warranty, and issues arising under the Consumer Product Safety Act. Jenny has secured summary judgment in state and federal courts across the United States and successfully defended companies in consumer product putative class action lawsuits, and she has authored numerous articles in her areas of practice.
Outside of work, Jenny gravitates toward music, art, seafood, and the closest coastline with her husband and dog.
