About Richard L. Hyde
Richard Hyde is a skilled trial attorney with over 10 years’ experience in civil litigation. Richard focuses his practice on consumer class actions, business litigation, Proposition 65, and California’s Unfair Competition Law.
Richard has represented clients at every stage of the litigation process, from inception through verdict. He has successfully represented clients in consumer class actions and in litigation matters involving civil rights violations, mass torts, toxic exposure, insurance bad faith claims, and violations of California’s Song-Beverly Act. In 2017, Richard successfully obtained a unanimous defense verdict for an agricultural client in an in utero pesticide exposure case following a 9-week jury trial. The Daily Journal recognized the verdict as one of the Top Defense Verdicts of the year.
Outside of the law, Richard enjoys baseball, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife and four children.
