About Jana Caracciolo Perez
Jana Caracciolo Perez guides a broad range of clients in the food, dietary supplement, and cosmetic industries, helping them navigate complex state and federal requirements and mitigate litigation risks associated with product formulation and labeling.
Jana’s interest in food law is not just a professional pursuit but a passion that stems from her unique upbringing on a small citrus farm in central Florida. This distinct background, coupled with her diverse experiences, including an internship in the general counsel’s office of the USDA, brings a fresh and unique perspective to her regulatory law practice.
In addition to a J.D., Jana holds an LL.M. degree in agricultural and food law from the University of Arkansas School of Law.
Outside of her professional life, Jana enjoys spending quality time with her husband and extended family. This includes hiking adventures, trips to used bookstores, and culinary experimentation with new recipes.
